The Scuba Ranch

Located in Terrell, TX, The Scuba Ranch is a privately owned 22 acre former rock quarry which boasts a wide variety of diving for it's size. The lake is home to their mascot, Sisco the shark, with many different wrecks from boats to airplanes and even an old grain silo. There is a wealth of underwater life from bass, to perch, and even...wait for it... Craspedacusta Sowerbii (or peach blossom jellyfish), a species of freshwater jellyfish!

They have a nearly full-service dive shop which provides equipment rental, air fills, limited food items and Scuba Ranch merchandise. This lake is amongst one of the most popular dive spots for Instructors to take their students of all levels for an incredibly immersive (pun intended) diving experience! The Scuba Ranch is NOT itself a scuba certification business, but a facilitator of scuba instruction. To receive scuba instruction here, you must take the courses with any one of the various dive shops that frequent this dive site.
